Large Softbox support-A video tutorial

I created this video tutorial to show how to safely support a large modifier from your studio strobe. The demonstration covers the Einstein strobe, Photoflex softbox, Kacey bracket, Avenger C-Stand, and Avenger Grip Head.

good video.

seems that offsetting the monolight and modifier would make the stand less stable, but i'm assuming the problem you are addressing is more with the monolight coming off the stand.

No not exactly. The problem that many people experience is the large softbox falling off of the monolight. This solves that problem.

gotcha.

it's been 20 years since I worked in a proper studio. Lots of things have changed!

trying to get my head around what I need to do to get myself set up, and this will help.

Seems like that's geared more toward the PCB Monolight Systems.....
I'm not aware of too many other popular lighting manufactures (Speedotron, Photogenic, Elinchrom, Norman, and Profoto) that have an issue with large modifiers.....
