vivitar card reader not working!

howdy all, my vivitar card reader took a dump,this being my 2nd one in the last year,its strange how they just stop working !!and the window will not open up to let me download my photos,would any one no of a good brand to get,all my cards are the transcend and sandisk compactflash cards,thanks and hope you all have a nice x-mas/new years .

is there any brand of card reader you use(that stays working) i have been using a vivitar 5 in 1 that took a s..thanks,and have a grate x-mas/new years.

By far the best I've ever used. I've tried many that have failed or been slow. I highly recommend it.
