Can anyone suggest any case or pouch that would accommodate a canon 6d body, with a 40mm pancake lens? Since it is a nice p&s combo -and quite small-, i'd like to carry it with me in my backbag along with my class notes/books/etc, but i fear if i put it in there naked it will get scratched/damaged.

I already found the thinktank slim changer, but its kinda difficult to find in greece -actually i have to order it from another country, and i'm not sure i will have it even before christmas :p If you have any similar suggestion, let me know :)

I use Tenba messenger wrap to protect my 5D3/pancake combo when carrying it in my backpack. Works well for me.

Hi, my needs are different from deninho, as I would like a standalone bag for that combo.

Do you think a Crumpler Quick Escape 150 (external link) would work?

On the measurment side it looks fine, but I am not too sure about the shape...

Thanks for your help!

Thank you Saikou...
Sorry it might be my english skills to blame: I need a (shoulder) bag to carry the body+40mm, not a bag to put inside another bag.

I am looking for the smallest option to carry that combo with me.

Thank you Saikou, that's kind of you...but all those products are way too big...

Maybe I was not clear enough, I want the smallest possible bag to carry body+pancake (I already got a bigger bag for all the gear).

6D Body is 145 x 71 x111 mm

In case somebody is interested, here are my findings so far. (external dimensions vary a lot)

Crumpler
Quick Escape 150 (external link) Inside Dimensions:110 x 160 x 75 but I am not sure the diamond shape would be compatible.

Vanguard
BIIN 17 (external link) Inside Dimensions(LxWxH mm):170 x 80 x 110
Pampas II 13BK (external link) Inside Dimensions(LxWxH mm):130 × 75 × 145
Vojo 13BK (external link) Inside Dimensions(LxWxH mm):130×75×145

Lowepro
Format 120 (external link) Inside Dimensions(cm):13 x 9 x 14.5

Tamrac
Rally Micro (external link) Inside Dimensions(cm):17 x 8 x 13
Adventure Video 2 (external link) Inside Dimensions(cm):15 x 8 x 10

I carry that same combo around with my Black Rapid strap and hand strap without a bag all day at disneyland. I did see a bag at Target that looked like it would hold this combo and not be bulky but i have not had a chance to test it out.

Just noticed you are out of the states, are there any local stores you could go check?

I will for sure check physically, but I live in a really small country with no more than 3-4 camera shops so it is not possible to find a lot of different bags... Anyway, in 20 mn drive I can be in 3 different countries though so that's not an issue ;-)a
I just wanted to know if some owners of that kit would already have the bag perfectely fitting my needs!

They may be hard to get where you are, but the Domke F5XA would do nicely for your needs.

Thank you Jon, that looks nice!

I'll investigate in that direction.
