5DMKIII HDMI output problems.

I have attempted to do a few up shots (from low angle up) and since I can not see the LV screen I have hooked my SmallHD-4 monitor to the HDMI port and can see the image OK on both screens (LV and monitor) but when I connected the TV to the camera in the same setup I get no image on the TV screen. Have connected my daughter's D7000 camera and it works OK but not mine....(yes is set on mirror image).
Checked all settings, reconnected, rechecked all, no good. Why is the SmallHD monitor getting signal but not the TV (set on HDMI input)???. I have the generic v 1.2.3 installed. I remember a few months ago I hooked up the camera to the TV and got image on the TV...What now?
Anybody seen this problem?
