I currently use LR2, and am planning on purchasing LR5. I'm not planning an actual "upgrade," serial number from LR2 that I would need is long lost (former employee issue...) , will LR5 still upgrade my old catalog? And what other issues am I looking at?

If you have LR2 currently installed just go to the Help menu, System Info and you will find your registration key listed there. Write it down. Chances are that the LR5 installer will see the previous version and accept an upgrade number without question, but just in case it does ask for the old key you will have it. Elie / אלי

If it doesn't automatically find, copy, and upgrade your LR2 catalog, you can still kick-start things with a File/Open Catalog. Tony
