Took these in February at Walt Disney World. The first is one of the flower beds they were getting ready for the annual Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. The second is a lamp post on the dock behind the Wilderness Lodge.

just a quick question on this lighting set up; what is the light camera left doing?

Its actually behind the subject, its a rim light basically.. helps to separate the subject from the background.

Is that a short can of mountain dew or was that the distortion of the lens?

btw, an addict would have had both screens on POTN

Haha, the lens distortion isn't THAT bad :p It is just a small can of md.. I didn't even think of putting it on both screens, the second is almost always off because it keeps my graphics card in 3d mode aka heater mode

Here's a shot from my drive today.

Nice shooting everyone! ;)

I've taken a bit of a break over the winter but, now that the nicer spring weather is back, I have begun again to seek out some fresh shots for 2010.

How many of you FF users use this lens as a normal walk around lens?

This baby is literally glued to my 5DII. The only times I exchange lens is when I want to do some portraiture and some macro stuff.

Add me to the list. Just bought it, but this lens is default on my 5D.
