Im getting this lens this week ![]() barrel distortion from this lens is comical, but it can be fixed easily in photoshop. just remember to keep your camera level and the verticals vertical... Thanks heaps and keep this thread goin. Im getting this lens this week ![]() I find the distortion isn't too bad, especially if you keep the camera as close to level as possible. The distortion really goes away for me around 25-30mm, but even at 17, it's quite usable. Then again, I'm using a crop body, but I can't see it being that big of a difference. Oh, and for what it's worth, DPP and Photoshop CS5 already have profiles for this lens. I'm sure lightroom and other adobe products do as well. Head Photography
