I can't decide if I need this lens as I got the 24-105L... but I always find myself wanting something wider than 24mm... Also considering the 15mm 2.8 fisheye, but for a couple more bucks, the 17-40 is alot more flexible...

Anybody has both the 24-105L & the 17-40L?

Nice photos everybody btw! Keep it up...

I do :)

I think 17-40D is sharper than 24-105.

Thanks for the reply X tan... I was saving up for the 135L, but since I'm going on vacation, I'm going to need to go wide... Going to San Francisco, Las Vegas, LA n San Diego...

So, is it worth keeping both lens? I just have a feeling I won't need the 24-105 after buying this lens...

Nice pics btw...

Somewhat I like 17-40L more for the landscape. But I'll keep both for sure.

I don't use 24-105 for family portrait any more as prime dose better job. 24-105L is light, reach telephoto range, which is very handy for travel and telephotography.

135L is very nice for portrait, especially for head shot - I don't have to very close to the subject, and subject is more relax.
