Very jealous of you 5D (and other full frame owners); 17-40 is nice on a crop camera but excellent on a full frame camera!

Incredible shot! I've seen your photos on the 35L and 135L pages as well (like many others, I guess) and considered you an excellent portrait photographer. You are however an excellent photographer overall!

I took these with the 17-40 I just got and I think its an incredibly sharp lens. Unfortunately, I think I am going to return it because I need more reach for my style.

Thx for the kind words but all I did was add some contrast, boosted saturation +7 and cropped. That place has some beautiful colors ....
