I've admired the great work on this forum for quite a few years but rarely post any work up so thought I'd try and contribute a bit more regularly.

In the UK I'm involved with the Brit Cit Judges group of Mega City One working with an ongoing project and after a few testers have finally settled on a processing style. The aim is to produce ongoing images bringing to life iconic scenes from the Judge Dredd comics and graphic novels. Here is the image that I think nails the processing look I'm after and looking for C&C.

Image is a grab shot from outside the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham UK. Composite produced in photoshop.

If you have a moment, a couple of the earlier tester work, with also some notes surrounding the approach and my passion for the genre... [Blog here] (external link)

I think you absolutely NAILED your processing style for the series. Can't wait to see more!

This is a GREAT shot; on your site, though, you have GOT to let the user selecting one of your images override the slideshow. It's rather infuriating to be trying to look at one image and having the site automatically show something else so quickly.

Excellent compositing and processing. The flare catches my eye a bit too much because it's on his head, but that's my only critique I can find!

Thanks everyone for the comments about my image, completely overwhelmed by the response. I've had similar comments about the light flare, but I just like light flares! Cheers guys!

As for the comment about my website, I'm pretty sure I didn't ask for critique about that, but all the images on the home page are included in the seperate portfolio's if you are interested to look further. Thank you.

Cracking composite. It really does fit the feel and the mood of Dredd well.

I have never heard of a Dredd before but great job on the picture.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.
