What's there to say? Unless you have a Nikon Df there's nothing new.

Interesting ? if they only added a converter for a New Camera seems OTT to raise a version number of the software. Surely they have fixed some bugs as well ?

Would it have been better if the code for reading specific RAW files was issued similar way to plugins so that one only needs to install the converters required and have ability to update as and when required.

Updated Fuji support is a big plus -- I know many new X-E2 owners have been waiting for this update.

First thing this morning the download link downloaded 5.2, not 5.3. It was soon fixed.

Whenever I asked LR5 and 5.2 to do anything they slowed to a crawl on my AMD system.
(Touching wood) 5.3 has been a little less flaky so far.

When LR1 first came out as a Beta, I used it but only as a "trial", too many bugs.

It wasn't until LR1.3 came out, plenty of bug fixes, that I jumped on it and never looked back.

So yeah, the ".3" releases tend to be pretty solid.

That doesn't mean that the LR team has been "lazy", in fact I give them a lot of credit for working hard on those bug fixes and new features! It does take time and work (I had a career of software development) but the good news is that they get stuff done!

I will be upgrading from v4.4 to v5.3 tomorrow morning.

Hopefully everything will go well...
