Park number 20 on my wife's bucket list is Haleakalā National Park, located on the island of Maui. The park is split into two sections, the summit of the extinct volcano and the rainforest located near Hana. I can tell you that the sunrise was one of the most amazing things that I have ever witnessed.

I appreciate any and all critique, it's how I learn!
Thanks for taking a look,
Ken

I like how you capture the dramatic differences in the landscape.

Outstanding stuff you have here. The first image is the winner. Lot's of time spent on Maui over the years I have.

I'm accross the canal just south of Ballard, the town Seattle usurped in 1907.

We have made an effort to get to the top of Haleakala but the last time it was so foggy we couldn't make it up. We have been to Maui every year & still need to get up there. Your photos make me want to try again as we will be there Feb. 19th for a week.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

The first shot is a killer. You are fortunate to have a wife with a great bucket list, and the patience to enjoy the scene while you take pictures.

Maureen! You have to get there! Go early, dress warm, lots of people not a ton of parking!

My only gripe with these pictures is that I wasn't the one there taking them. ;-)a Your wife is a very lucky woman having achieved marking 20 parks off of her bucket list. Great collection of images.

FYI: "Fitness Freak" is also known as "Amber" outside of POTN.

Thanks! We were able to make it to Hawaii (big island) on this trip and she got her 21st - Volcanoes! February will be Mesa Verde, already counting the days!
