I got a couple of lights from my aunt.... for... get this... FREE...

I got a Photogenic Powerlight 750, and a White Lightning Ultra 1800... this was my first shot with these lights. Please let me know how i did! Oh yeah... I took this without metering the flash... my flash meter won't arrive until next week.

And because of limited space in my home, this pic was taken using only the Powerlight 750, and I didn't have room for a reflector, so I think I need a little more light on the left.

Subject is my daughter, Chloe.... 5 yeas old.

Thanks!!
- Tom

I think it is very nice...you could use a fill reflector and a hair (kicker) light.

There are two kinds of photographers...the ones who screw up; and the ones who are about to...

Great for a first attempt. As mentioned, a little hair light would add but great job.
