I cannot help but notice a lot of turnover on the board over the last few years. People like Eland, TimNYC24, KO300D, Guillermo Freige, and Stopbath have all seemed to have disappeared. Meanwhile new members join at an ever increasing rate.

Keeping that in mind, I was wondering something. Is it acceptable to submit previously posted shots again, so that our new membership can share their thoughts and opinions? Or is that too much like bumping?

I dont see a problem in principle but it depends largely on how you do it. This board is a busy place and, to my mind, there would be little point in resubmitting your old photos just for the sake of it. That said, I think it might be really fun to see your top 3 photos from the last 5 years or similar.

So I think the point is to be clear what you are trying to achieve by resubmitting them.

I think resubmitting would need justification such as reprocessing to compare differences to the original as one have learned more since last time.

Or as Big_B suggest a post with top 5 of the year or something similar.

I can see resubmitting in Critique, since a new set of eyes is certainly a valid reason.

That sounds a strange idea. Radtech1, have you not taken any more recent images worth showing? I am just asking as good shots here seem to get plenty of responses. If you didn't get enough feedback last time then maybe the images are not worth posting again. If you did, then why post them again? This sounds a little rude which isn't the intention.
