It's a quite common bird here in Europe, it's full name is Eurasian Magpie (pica pica in latin).

There were three threads: one for discussion, two for images. The two image threads were confusing (one in the Lens Sample section, one not) and so they have been merged. This merged thread is now in the Lens Sample section.

This was my weekend for taking photos of impossibly small/quick birds. These were both handheld while walking around a creek area. Not great photos, but considering how far I was from the subjects (these are heavily cropped), I'm pleased. Kinglets and Creepers are tough to capture!
