Yes, once the rain stops and the clouds clear away. I wouldn't want to try this lens with TCs late on an overcast day...

:), You are so hard to read, I don't know if you joking or not. Anyway I would not try it also if it is raining and on overcast day. Thanks I appreciate you.

I tried a Tokina Pro 300 teleplus 1.4x on mine last evening and AF was snappy on high contrast subjects with good light but image quality suffered a little more than I had hoped for.

This has been my experience as well on my 7D....although on my 6D IQ seemed to survive a lot better. I have a Kenko 1.4 TC.

Has anyone found an acceptable case into which this lens will fit?

Thank you I appreciate it. I have a pending deal with Kenko 1.4x DGX PRO for a great deal. The sun is to be out by then? Tonight? :)

I tried my Kenko DGX TelePlus Pro 1.4x tonight after I got home. Unfortunately it never did clear off, so the light was rather dim. I think I got it to lock AF a couple of times out of 15 or so tries; most of the time it just cycled the full focus range from one end to the other without stopping when it got to the focus point, even on fairly high contrast targets. I will try it again when I get some brighter light. The sharpness seemed to hold up fairly well when I focused manually.

Gripped 7D, gripped, full-spectrum modfied T1i (500D), SX50HS, A2E film body, Tamzooka (150-600), Tamron 90mm/2.8 VC (ver 2), Tamron 18-270 VC, Canon FD 100 f/4.0 macro, Canon 24-105 f/4L,Canon EF 200 f/2.8LII, Canon 85 f/1.8, Tamron Adaptall 2 90mmf/2.5 Macro, Tokina 11-16, Canon EX-430 flash, Vivitar DF-383 flash, Astro-Tech AT6RC and Celestron NexStar 102 GT telescopes, various other semi-crappy manual lenses and stuff.

Thank you I appreciate it. I am waiting for the seller to email me back, I think I am going to get it. Please do so when you have a better light. Thanks archer.

Lowepro seems to have one.

Yep that Lowepro is the 13x32 if I remember correctly. I have one and it fits beautifully.

Great shots I like the 2nd one the most. That is why I really appreciate this lens because very little process is what it's needed. Lately I don't even add sharpening I leave it from lr default of 25 sharpening level. I am getting used to handholding the lens now.
