Excellent shot Craig. I loved the action and emotion of your grandson projected here :)

Perfect timing on that shot Craig. I can't believe how little motion you got on the ball at 1/1000th.

bannedPermanently

Here is an Osprey of the other variety - I was shooting some surfers shredding after getting my fill on a really cloudy day, planning to go for some black and whites in post.

So with horrible color and contrast in the sky, apparently no problem handheld with the Big Tammy on a 60D: 1/80th - 483mm - f/13

PS my aviation shots are usually very sub-par at best haha... maybe that will change with this lens! :D

Thanks.

Yes that is what I did also called the day after they received it.

Finally able to test my tamzooka with the new firmware yesterday. I am glad to say that I am much happier and very very satisfied, definitely fixed issues with my 7D I am having before, I was able to track Osprey in flight diving to the technician working on a cell tower next to the nest, The Osprey was flying all over the place and tried to hit the tech man several times the osprey dives like more than 10 times trying to hit the tech man while me busy tracking the osprey and my 7D maintain focus most of the time.

This lens is really awesome. Kudos to Tamron for addressing the AF issue.
