I'm kinda wondering if a Pringles can, which fits perfectly over the head of my 580EXII, can serve to extend the flash by keeping the beam narrow. Thoughts?

Drove around for a bit after I got off, looking for bears.. no such luck today..I did manage to get a pretty good deer shot with some interesting light though. People have said they've had bear, including cubs, in their backyards! Arg. Must.find.bear. - Jason -

I'd suspect it's more likely to act like a snoot. It may extend the range a tiny bit, but a Fresnel lens would be way better. rehype wrote in post #17034402 Some wild flowers @ 600mm.
