That is the way I love to see moon shots. The moon itself is interesting, but to include other elements in the shot is the way a true master takes moon shots. Well done.

I wonder how the Sigma 150-600 contemporary is going to match up. Still seems like vaporware at this pint though.

BTW I should say the Kingfisher is a very tight crop, 25% of the area of a 7D frame, the Reed Bunting is about 75% of the 7D frame, the others are only slightly cropped if at all..

They only thing I can suggest is to keep your shutter speed up if you can, although the VR does seem good, use any support you can find.
MA is essential to get the best out of this lens at the long end wide open.

Picked up a 7DMKii on Wed

First outing with it. After shooting FF for 3 years, I'll have to get use to the iso noise factor on the crop.

Less than ideal conditions. Thick overcast(of coarse, for the last week it's been sunny).

Handheld
Large crop.

Tamron 150-600
