Thanks Jv. Hoping for no rain today so I can test outside. I could see the difference with the VC on now then before I sent it for repair. I can feel the VC is engaging.

Yes I was surprised. Before I could not get a sharp image within in minimum distance focus, the biggest improvement is the image quality and also the VC is stable unlike before the VC when it is ON is like in off position so it was useless and based in their finding my VC unit is not working so they put in a new unit that is what it stated in the invoice, they also claimed that they improved image quality I don't know how they do it but it is surely evident. It is like my lens before I asked for firmware updates no problem at all. I started having problems after I sent it to them last Aug for the firmware. But I am glad it is now back to when it was before.

I tried it on both 7D and 7DmkII and it was all good.

Still testing my lens sorry for the subjects around the house. These are my targets during testing :) and promised this will be the last time I will post these subjects.
This time with 1dMKII plus 1.4x Kenko distance from 35 to 40 feet on tripod. I can't believed it does AF so quickly in a not so bright room.

Early this morning. This lens together with 6D, it's a nice combo with 6D's low light performance!
I love to see and photograph mammals. Like a moose.
