CS 5.5 Quick select backwards??

Has this ever happened to anyone.. I've notice that when I'm selecting with the quick select or magic ward that it's always on inverse. What's worse is when I select inverse to try to get it back it does nothing. Just odd

besides unistalling and reinstalling any ideas

I don't know why the "select inverse" doesn't work but the original quick select may be inverse because it is set at subtract from selection. You should have four icons in the tool bar new selection, add, subtract and intersect.

Well, good, that seems to be a setting that shouldn't be "sticky"!
