Owners of FSTOP bag and Flipside?

I have the flipside 300 and 400. While neither carries a lot of gear, I like them, especially for the way they both protect the gear (zipper access against back) and the ability to turn them around with waist belt on and access gear quickly without having to put bag down.

I've asked Santa for the Guru which appears of similar design but is obviously a much better proper backpack.

I know it has similar access and I saw Ben Jacobsen with a larger fstop at a camera show and he swung his around to show me it does work similarly.

So will the guru?

I find my Guru very comfortable for day trips. It holds a good amount of gear also. You can swing it around from your waist to load and unload. I don't use it this way but many do. Also go with the Medium Slope. Don't get the the Medium Pro as it will not fit properly and it will pull on your zipper. The Medium Slope is a real nice fit with this bag. Enjoy, it truly is a great pack.

Yes, you can, but I don't like doing it much as I'm not sure how well the waist straps cope with the stress.

I actually lift my knee up to support the flipside.
