Last Friday we had a large party with several photographer covering the event. By no means professionals, but still all people experienced with cameras. Difficult light (inside, bad light, huge room).

Today we pulled all the pictures together. And it was very satisfying for me to see, that my pictures jump out of the bunch. They are crisp, focused and well lit. It is great to see that all your efforts to improve your skill are visibly paying off. They are still far from perfect and I still have less then 30% keepers -- but for candid shots I am quite satisfied.

Just needed to brag a little bit.
And I am very well aware that all the experience on POTN helped me along quite a bit.....

I think I have learned more from the experience of the people on POTN than I have from reading any book. Books and tutorials are great, but the ability to have a conversation with someone (or many) here have answered many questions and result in great suggestions and tips.
