I am currently stationed in England where it's often cold but gloomy these days. Do you guys esp. Those living in colder climates take photo shoots outside or do you stay in the studio for the most part till it gets warmer?

Dec 17, 2013 01:13 | #2 Yup still shoot in Canada because if we didn't we would only be photographing for few months of the year!! It's a good opportunity for different types of clothing with great textures and accessories such as scarves. A little fill flash never hurts either. Rain does suck though. ~Steve~

WallaceRiver " ...a bit of a pervy voyeur " More info | The family has to dress properly for photos. Usually they don't want to be wearing big bulky coats, so they wear lighter coats and jackets to try to keep warm, but not bulky IAN - Living life on the shores of the Wallace River in northern Nova Scotia, Canada :

(Edmonton, Alberta, CAN) I usually let the client know that we will be outside 10-15 mins and then go to the vehicles to warm up then go out again. When it's cold outside you have to be quick and get the job done, the client will appreciate that. When the sun comes out everything is so soaked no one wants to be outside.. you just end up churning up the garden and bringing most of it indoors on your wellies. 30D, 18~55mm, 100mmf2.0, various Praktica, Atik 383L+ mono & filter wheel, 12" imaging telescope

(pardon my ignorant question. )I've never had condensation on my lenses so I don't worry about it. Usually when we go back to the cars they have already cooled off and are cold inside and then it warms up slowly. Maybe that helps? It's not like going into a warm environment right away. It's not an ignorant question lol. Condensations never been an issue for me. ![]() Thanks rfdesigner wrote in post #16602789 The best way to deal with it is to take a zip bag or sealable box.. put the gear inside the bag/box before going into the warm (I do astrophotography.. I get water running off my scope when the due is coming down.. RH > 99%) Thanks for the tip. Does the condensation then form on the bag instead? I recently did a shoot in the cold (not a people shoot) and got condensation when I got back in the car. https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1353327 My name is Brenda ~Saved by grace, walking by faith
