I don't really have a use for studio lighting but someone has brand new set of Elinchrom 400bx for $200 with stands and a bag should I buy this or is it better to look for something else.
They literally look brand new
Tested and all that. I also have a set of wireless receives and transmitter from paul c buff already to use with these. And umbrellas

If Elinchrom is the way you want to go, then it's a great buy..... but then again it's a great buy either way!

Also
Can tubes for this still be bought at a decent price where it may be worth relacinf if these ever went out?

Also, would I be able to find a soft box or anything for this stuff later on.

I may use these with umbrellas to do outdoor shoots with bands for promos and stuff and maybe inside if I ever decide not to use natural lighting.

I really hate artificial lighting but I figured at $200 bucks for all of it thats a steal and a stupid deal to pass up

Ya I sold my ab400s for 400 lol so. Figured these will do if I ever do artficial lighting.... can these be hooked up to a normal converter from car battery or marine battery?

Does this require the pure sine wave converter? I know the alienbees did. and most others need it as well since its close to what is in the house hold lines
