Trying to move into using my new 580EX II on my 1D Mk3. Anyone using this camera with the flash? Any tips or good advise?

Thats what it sounds like, but i wouldn't have thought there'd be many issues, or on camera flash tips in general? I have that flash, but not that body.... I guess I'm hoping to find someone with that body.... I've ordered a 270EX for my wife's EOS-m but figure I can utilize it as well slave/master....
