Trying to move into using my new 580EX II on my 1D Mk3. Anyone using this camera with the flash? Any tips or good advise?
Thanks!

Thats a bit vague tbh.

Do you want tips for that particular camera / flash combo? Thats what it sounds like, but i wouldn't have thought there'd be many issues, or on camera flash tips in general?

I have that flash, but not that body....

All the stuff I've owned at one time or another

I guess I'm hoping to find someone with that body.... I've ordered a 270EX for my wife's EOS-m but figure I can utilize it as well slave/master....

I have been using a Vivitar 285HV and just not familiar with eTTL. Thanks

I think I figured out the biggest thing, I couldn't find the place to control the flash in my 1D's menu; but after looking carefully though the manual found it last night. Awesome flash!!!
