Underbelly
Hobart has a river running right through the city and many don't know about it.
It's called the Rivulet and occurs as a result of the City being on the side of a Mountain.
The Rivulet runs down from Mt Wellington past Cascade Brewery and through and under the main streets of the City.
It is visible through some grates in the pavement here and there. There are many better shots to get than this especially deeper in. However I only took my phone as illumination today and as I prefer to see the mammals running over my feet I will have to come back when better prepared.
These are from Battery Point - some of the old and historic buildings in the area. The two cottages are in Arthur Circus. A cute circular street which was the to the 'Beau Monde' of the area in the 1800's.
