trying to learn. used the 35L on these shots.

Re-edited them, or the best I can for being a true amateur.

I had these pictures printed, and they looked absolutely terrible. I thought everything was in focus. But, the pictures look off, especially the focus point and the coloring.

What can I do to improve on this? Does it matter where they are getting printed from? Should I not send it to Walgreens/CVS via an online upload?

If the pics look out of focus, perhaps they were resized or cropped wrong at somepoint during printing.

I'm going to try to redo the pics using a higher ISO and faster shutter speed so I can drop my F-stop down and see what happens.

if you want to print shots big, I suggest you get a flash and shoot LOW iso.

Cute family. First of all ditch walgreens as your developer. There's a Sams Club in Kingston who will do much better or send them off to Adoramapix in NY city. Adorama will do color adjustments on them in which they need. The white balance is off. That is another issue I was going to bring up. Read up on this forum about White Balance.
