We work in an industry which is rife with a lack of integrity and morals. One of the reasons I keep myself to myself. We call it "creative" yet so much is copied.

I think to a certain extent, influences will always creep into your work. But this was just so blatant. It was just sad watching the video. Dropping the mic, the key points at the end, the Piano Man. It was bang, bang, bang. I like how Adam gave props to Ray Roman but the thief didn't even mention Adam.

After watching the video...it's kind of hard not to see the similarities.

It's the details that bring him down. Let's face it, the guy he stole from didn't exactly invent those ideas or was the first to use some of that language. But to be so specific and lift such small details over and over again; sheesh, have some self respect.

Meh... It seems like Sal loves these controversies, or is it that he surounds himself with these kinds of people. Whats the old saying though, "there is no such thing as bad publicity."

Maybe Sal is a man of ethics and this kind of behavior disturbs him.

It is being discussed on a number of sites including http://stopstealingphotos.tumblr.com/ (external link)

Interesting but Sad story. Another rock star crumples to the dust because they
take a short cut. I wonder if Vanessa knew what he was up to....

I actually disagree here. Its a photo comp. This is common practice in the industry. Lots of photographers use purchased backdrops and make photo comps with them. WTH is unethical about that..........If i have read this right.....the sal is all wet in this one. my opinion is BFD... its a photo comp. find something else to **** about.

Well, there's definitely some truth to this. Most people out there on the circuit or in that clique know how to make money and use different ways to do so. It does get irritating after a while.

Just some food for thought. And don't be so quick to throw stones. I rarely see anything on any forum that's remotely original. I can't tell most photographers work from the next.

A quote by Picasso and the irony is he was on of the most original artists of the 20th century.

Good artists copy, great artists steal.-Pablo Picasso

And yes I agree with the fact a lot of these guys do the circuit because their business can't support them.
