This is a really good deal on these. They've been hovering around $2k for years. They're awesome lenses. Wait until you try a 3-shift pano. They stitch together flawlessly. Death Valley is the perfect place to play with tilting, too. Bring a tripod that allows you to get right down close to the ground. Get your tilt set, then do a 3-shift pano. Super wide angle with infinite DoF.
