Compliments of CanonPriceWatch (external link), the awesome Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II is being offered at B&H Photo as a double-dip deal. Once you add it to your cart, the price is $1,999 with free 2-day shipping and a 2% B&H reward. With the $200 mail-in rebate, this brings the final price down to $1,759 which includes 2-day delivery to your door. When you factor in the 2% B&H reward, I believe this is the lowest price ever seen for this lens.

I already own the 24L, but after reading so many great reviews on the TS-E 24L and seeing all of the wonderful results posted in this thread here, I couldn't help myself and ordered one. Extra thanks and gratitude go to my wife for having so much patience with my journey in photography. :D

I can't wait to try it out over the holidays, especially when we stop in to Death Valley for 3 days on the way home. This will be an excellent addition for landscapes and architecture.

Happy shopping!
Bryan

Never fails. Every time I buy a lens it gets cheaper. This is a really good deal on these. They've been hovering around $2k for years. They're awesome lenses. Wait until you try a 3-shift pano. They stitch together flawlessly. Death Valley is the perfect place to play with tilting, too. Bring a tripod that allows you to get right down close to the ground. Get your tilt set, then do a 3-shift pano. Super wide angle with infinite DoF.

Yikes Mark -- I'm sorry you missed out on the lower price! Well, at least the lens has been in your hands for awhile and you've been making photographs with it!

Congrats jlt23! Looks like we'll both have a great new lens to use in a few days.

I hope some more POTN folks get in on this deal!

Bryan

Meh, it happens. Happened with the 70-300L, the 100mm f2.8L macro, and the 24mm TS-E. Seems to be a curse.

Wait'll you take a normal shot with this and then look at the detail at 100%. You'll be stunned.
