Workflow - imbed filename

Gradually getting my workflow sorted (may even share it once I@m confortable with it), but one time consuming activity I havn't overcome is imbedding the filename (or three digit number) into the picture so I know which image people like best by the referecne number.

I usually give them a CD slideshow - for each picture as well as rough crops, adjustments I also have to open the image insert the filename (usually 001 - 1xx), flatten the image and save the file and confirm the res settings etc etc .

Anyone know if I automate this or whether a simple application will insert it for you (I use C1, PS7 and PS album)

regards
John

BreezeBrowser has a watermark capability.

C1LE doesn't do it (unless I've missed something).

You can do it with PS7, but you have to use scripting.

If you check links on this page:

http://www.rogercavanagh.com/actions.htm (external link)

I've some explanation of using scripting and a script that puts a signature in an image.

There's also PS Script Builder (www.ksscinc.com (external link)) that has this capability.
