Dec 19, 2013 16:58 | #11 Thanks all! I know that they aren't the perfect in-flight, coming right at you, tack-sharp, light snow falling, perfect background, NATGEO ready, snowy owl shots that every photographer dreams of getting. These were in a harbor in downtown Chicago and you can imagine how many photos are taken of these birds everyday. Photographers left and right have been down trying to flush these birds in hopes to get a flight shot. I'm amazed that they have stuck around! I actually liked the non-native background this time. Sure I was frustrated they weren't up hunting ducks, but I left them exactly as I found them and I got a few unique shots in return - pretty good day.
