Also, I don't have an option for second curtain sync. Is that only available if I have a flash in the camera hotshoe? None. Just dont get too comfy in the idea that it will remain on through a battery change or such. Yes, second curtain sync is limited to a flash in the hotshoe, although perhaps the YN622 triggers might be able to accomplish that, but I cant remember for certain. The main reason for the limitation is that triggering systems all have some delay so if the flash fires at the end of the exposure how will the camera know when to trigger a remote flash if it doesnt know the extra timing involved.
