I just purchased an Epson 7600 24" printer that came with plenty of ink but I am looking for sources to purchase ink in the future.

Does anyone have first hand experience using 3rd party inks in their epson large format printers? I'm interested in brands that have been used successfully and have not cause clogs. I realize that genuine epson inks are the best to use, but I am considering all of my options.

I have an Epson 3880. Have not used third party inks in my printer yet. I have considered it and have done quite a bit of research into it. If I do decide to use them I will probably go with those from the above link. I.e. Cone inks.

Cone inks seems to be the consensus of the research I did as well - I requested sample prints from their website - you can too and print from your Epson inks n the same paper and see how they compare. I have not replaced inks on my 3880 yet, and will defer making the decision to use 3rd party inks until some other time.

There is a similar discussion going on over at LuLa:

As I'm sure there has been on many websites and forums.
