Did I order the wrong Rokinon 14/2.8?

Or is this the Roki 14/2.8 that I hear all great things about for $316 and change at my door a good deal after all?

I ask because after I sent my order in I realized the ring was red and the ones I see on BH are orange/goldish and also that it's listed a little bit differently. Could someone please confirm for me? I still have time to cancel..

edit: it's not free 1 day shipping, it's $3.99 with Amazon prime membership, sorry! Ordered mine last night, should be here tomorrow if I don't cancel it..

Relax. It's the new version of the lens. Others are probably using older pics or even pics for other cameras. If you go to your own link and hover on the same lens for any other camera, they all have a gold ring and look like an older model.

Don't worry. The lens you chose has a 4.5 star rating after 135 reviews. Apparently a lot of people are happy with it. If not, you can always return it....especially if it comes with a gold ring and your photo showed a red one because you can claim the product wasn't as advertised and you won't even have to pay return shipping.

So is it suppose to have the red or orange ring? Or does it not matter? Thanks for the help!

Red ring with gear like texture for the focus ring is made for videoing. It will still work for your camera as long as you purchased the one with the same camera mount, EF for canon. Otherwise it works just as the same as the gold colored one.

Some have red rings, other gold. Depends on the distributer. My Bell and Howell was a red ring, but my Rokinon was gold. Both UMC new versions.
