family portraits

Would like some feedback on these portraits I did, any aspects you see fit

Nice job. No complaints. But you didn't get the kids smiling broadly into the camera. (Like this is ever possible.)

What is Ricky bobby jr doing with his hands in the third pic? I like em except for the crop on the last one. Too tight?

The crop on the last one is a tad too tight. I would of framed it a little more to the left and took a step back/zoomed out a bit. Also agree about the hand in the 3rd, it looks out of place and somewhat distorts the kids upper half. These are things that you have to watch for and correct. IQ looks good though, in general good shots.

An excellent set of portraits. You've covered all the classic bases for posing groups, lighting looks good, color, sharpness all great. Not anything to change that I see except.....

Hands coming around bodies and on shoulders do give a disjointed, extra hand perception. Both of the hands belonging to the man on the left rear are problems.

I really don't like the way the dad is sitting in these. I MUCH prefer the one on your site where he has the baby in his lap.
The lighting and colors in these are great.

Photos 2 and 3 beg to be put in a 4:5 ratio framing and cropped in. There's nothing that required every body part need be included in the image. It can be ok to cut off parts of legs if it makes for a stronger composition and if including the extremities only makes for expanding the image frame. Here is what I"m talking about. This may be too tight but I was trying to get away from including part of the man's shoes.
