Your "some sort of Aston" is a V8 Vantage Zagato. As well as the 52 coupes they also made 37 convertibles.

Thanks! The red Ferrari had an opening bid of $5M. Within seconds it shot up to $10M, sat around there and went for $13M which ended up at $14.3 after taxes and fees were levied.

Unfortunately crowded auto shows result in a lot of waiting around for people to move out of the way and if I could get a shot without anyone blocking part of the car, I was satisfied.
