Shots from a rap show...

A friend of mine plays in a band that did a compilation with a local hip hop artist, and being that I love having a chance to get out and shoot live music, it seemed like a good occasion.

Used my 7D along with a 28/1.8, 35/2, 50/1.8 and 85/1.8. Full manual, ISO 3200, most at 2.2 and 1/60 or 1/80 (the lighting was as limited as can be expected in a small club). Processed in CS6 using the quadtone B&W technique I picked up from Scott Kelby. I didn't spend as much time on NR today as I likely will on the final drafts - just did NR in CameraRAW along with presharpening and then output sharpened in Photoshop.
