I currently have Lightroom 5, CS6 and several Nik software plug-ins. Is there anything that PPS8 would really add to this collection? Is there something I can only do in PPS8 that would justify the expense?

If you don't capture images properly, like faddish effects, or need people to look plastic then sure, looks like it's a good option.

Oops, I just noticed an earlier thread that will probably answer some of my questions. However, additional input would be appreciated.

If you have both LR and CS6, well, I'd say you're "good to go" for anything you want to do. A plug-in can make things work a bit more quickly depending on what you want to do, but that's going to take a bit of trial-and-error on your part to figure out what meets your needs!

I've found it very useful, don't really need PS for much any more.
Probably depends on your work-flow really but you can download the free trial and have a go. They have some excellent webinars and online tutorial vids.
Masking of complex backgrounds is very good, as is the "perfect eraser" tool.

Not sure how to read this... you mean like pretty much any image editor on the market?

Sorry, are you talking about PPS8 or PS?
