testing my newish 1D3 in the cold (-17C)..till my fingers froze :D

Cheyrl, I like these but on my screen it seems as if the focus is not spot on. You've listed some great gear and I think that it should be giving better results than what I'm seeing. :(

Could it just be my monitor??

John, you're probably right... I'm really trying. These were with the 400 5.6 handheld, too cold to bother with the tripod today...will keep working on it & Thankyou for taking the time to comment/critique, really appreciate it..

Jeff, they have there chose of suet, black sunflower seed & lots of other good stuff to choose from.. No turkey though :)

Ahhhh, that's probably it. The lens has a great reputation and I know your going to get smashing shots from it. Was worried that there might have been some equipment problems.
