I shot a few HD Videos on my SX50 canon camera. I tried using a regular mini USB from the camera to the side of my Samsung 46" HDTV into the HDMI. I tried changing around the video/audio inputs to playback any of these videos, but nothing. it gets confusing because everything plugs in my Yamaha receiver...the Time-Warner cable, the BD player, and the TV.

I want to get the Full HD from camera to the TV, but using the AVC-DC300 looks like just an audio and video RCA cord, and would not allow me to see the HD.

How about using a HDMI Mini connector ( HDMI-CEC compatible) A/V Output cable?

In other words, this camera AV Digital compartment has three.

On the top, a female input (probably for the AVC-DC300)
In the middle, looks like a mini cable to USB,
and the bottom, is longer in width and skinnier...is this what I need to watch HD movies on my TV? Thanks!

According to the manual you need a HDMI HTC-100 Cable

The Canon version appears to be ridiculously priced, but third party ones are available - check Amazon.

I found this on monoprice- I've seen these sell for over 70.00, on a few other sites.

Or on eBay for $3 shipped.

Be aware of which type you need, there's many mini HDMI.
For instance my M uses a Type C.

Thanks guys!
I used Monoprice in the past for my HDMI cables, etc, and they have a #7648 for $4.40 plus a few bucks for shipping. (Mini HDMI to HDMI) I'll go with this. BTW...The link that I placed above in the previous post was the wrong item for me. Hopefully, it should recognize the input and display on the TV screen. Thanks again!
