Canon 6D: how to transfer videos from the cam to the ipad mini?

Hi!

I made videos with the Canon 6D.

I've imported the *.mov videos to iTunes and wanted to transfer it to the ipad mini. But this doesn't worked.

Can anybody help me here?

I had problems that when synching to iTunes library with 6 videos it said something like 'cant sync incompatible'.
I do not do much video but bought an apple "camera connector cable" to transfer still on a shoot. £35, for a USB TO LIGHTNING CONNECTOR cable. It works for stills and video direct from the camera. Both iPad4 and iPad Air.
Very slow thanks to USB 2.0 !!!! And apples protectionism Ugh! So they can charge more for 16 gb than WD charge for 2TB!
At one stage 'autoplay worked but now does not - that was great as you could use shift and hold and CTRL to addd and remove files like normal. I intent to push Apple support to make that work again. Nightmare individually selecting files or images to delete !
