This series of shots was taken at RAF Leuchars 2005 airshow of a Typhoon taking off for its air display routine...

lol...if its blue skys its not leuchars - nice shots though. I was there, but I wouldn't of noticed you other than perhaps if you had a H U G E lens...


anyway, nice shots, shame about the weather.

Nice pics!

I think #5 is my favourite/most dramatic/wow factor....

Were they taken 'just' with the Sigma, or with the Sigma and converter?

i-gadget,

These shots were taken with the Sigma & 1.4x converted fitted giving a 420mm range which thankfully worked fine on the day, the dull overcast weather didn't help as I had to keep the shutter speed down a bit.

The combination of this lens and converter works superb on my 350D, I shoot quite a bit of motorcycle racing and have had great results from them.
