I got this above camera for Christmas. Took a couple of raw pictures with it and discovered that Light Room 4 cannot read the raw file. Neither can photo shop 5. Can someone tell me what I need to do?

Thanks Dale

Use the included software, Digital Photo Professional, from Canon for processing the files.

Upgrade your LightRoom to version 4.3 or 4.4. Version 4.3 was the first to support the SX50. If you have a registered copy, this should be free. I am not sure if you can use UPDATES from the HELP menu, or if you have to download it.

I have Photoshop Elements 11, but don't use it much. I doubt if I can help you, but its worth a try.
