Found this Tamron Photo Club F'book page that has a Tamron 150-600mm album. If you look at the album comments there is a couple more pics too. Cant translate it on my laptop at work ( bad wireless reception) but I think they are all handheld.Anyway here is the link...

It looks promising.
But I'm not sure about the colors. They look a bit... stale, or flat, maybe lack of contrast. I'm not sure.
Maybe its the compression and jpeg to Facebook, but I would like to see raw images.

Not bad but they do little to sell the lens IMHO - could be more to do with the photographer than the lens though!

yup i'm thinking along the same lines Roy. Eventually , and hopefully soon, we will see some photos taken in good conditions, where the subject fills a decent amount of frame and by a photographer we know to be capable of taking good shots. Not saying these guys that put up the images dont know how to take good shots, but a lot of them just appear to be "happy snaps".

Time will tell, but I am still excited about this lens at this stage and I hope it all works out.

The lighting is really bad and they don't look edited at all, but the samples look reasonably good as far as sharpness, etc. There's a 100% crop in the comments of one of them that looks muddled from compression and noise, but not bad at all.

I wish Tamron had loaned one of these to me for the last 12 days... I'm sure I could have helped it sell. On that note, Sigma owes me a lot of commission for helping them sell a bunch of 120-300 2.8 OS lenses :)
(I was down in the Florida keys shooting birds recently.)

It's looking more promising; but, I agree with the rest. "Real" photos instead of quick snapshots would be nice.
