It's been an awesome year and it's fun to go back and look at some of my favorite images from this year. It's been a busy one at that and I'm lucky to have traveled to quite a few places.

Here is a quick run-down of my locations since January and my favorite 10 images from this year.
-Washington: Mt. Rainier, North Coast (Second/Ruby Beach), Mt. Baker (Artist Point), lot of stops in Eastern Washington
-Oregon: Cannon Beach, Peter Iredale shipwreck, multiple stops at the
Columbia River Gorge, Portland Japanese gardens, Crater Lake, Eastern Plains
-California: Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Eastern Sierras, White Mountains/Bristlecone Pine Forest
-Utah: Moab, Canyonlands, Arches National Park, Escalante, Lake Powell, multiple Indian ruins
-Arizona: Antelope Canyon, Canyon De Chelly, Horseshoe Bend, White Pocket, Monument Valley
-New Mexico: Bisti Bandlands, Chaco Canyon
-Montana: Multiple stops in Glacier National Park

And in no particular order, my favorite ten shots:
1) Sunrise at Alstrom Point. Unfortunately this large ~80MB pano looses its impact at this size.

2) Lower Antelope Canyon. I have a similar shot with a sunbeam coming through the hole but I like the color on this one better.

Superb! Between you and Johan Eickmeyer (Canon_lover), you are doing the PNW proud on the landscape front!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Amazing and thanks for sharing. #4, that one of Multnomah Falls, Oregon, is my favorite by far. What a scene!
