Out taking shots tonight - these two shots are essentially the same - one is what I feel is the true WB, the other is what the camera decided looked best at the time at the time

Thing is - I quite like the "wrong" one...Anyone have any thoughts?

And I suppose if you cannot guess the wrong one its not technically wrong :P

Second one is better, IMO. Colors stand out more and there's less detail missing in the shadow areas

Very nice image. I like the second one, although I would tone down the magenta a little and increase some shadow detail.

Both are off from "correct" WB, but the second one looks better aesthetically.

Can you place your modified ACR adjustment up please?

Tons of enthusiasm, loads of kit, limited skill...

I also prefer the second one but I think it's more to the better exposure than the WB.

I don't actually like to think that there is technically a "wrong" white balance. It should be what you think looks best. Today whole editing, I corrected the white balance to what it "should" be and it honestly looked terrible compared to what I thought it "should" look like. Choose what you think looks best.

In this case I like the second image better.
