Critique my shot from Mortmatre Paris

Just been back from a holiday there, wonderful architecture, not so much about the place though. ;)

This was with a CPL filter.

This was with a CPL filter stacked with an ND filter as I had no time to remove the filter and then tripod mount it. Time was precious so got a shot asap.

Nice photos! I was there in November -- got some great shots but it was completely overcast so I didn't get the nice blue sky in the background like yours.

Thanks! light was good on the day i went! the day before was raining so i didnt dare take my 550D out on a tripod. Got a raincoat for it and handheld shots only.

Nice photo. I like the first one more as my eye goes to the building. In the 2nd one, my eye goes to the sky first.
