I have Lightroom 3, and 4 bought on CD's and installed as they came out. Question is, can I download LR4 for use onto my daughter's laptop, or will it be de-activated by Adobe. I know I'm allowed to put it on two platforms, but not sure if it would work on her's.
Thanks

There is no activation with LR. Besides that you are allowed to install on two machines.

What OS? I don't think 4 will work on XP and Vista needs some fiddling.

Great, I meant to say my Grandaughter, she getting interested in photograph, with a new canon
6ooD. I can give her the best PP program and help her learn it. I actually intend to teach her to make good camera shots first and not depend too mush on PP.
Thanks for the info.
Note: I was PO'd first, but did the arithmetic and decided to pay Adobe 9.99 a month for CC.

But only if it's not used on both simultaneously. In other words, you can't install one copy for use by two people.
