Just off the coast a few hours drive and short plane trip away, is a coral island, and eco resort. Birds come to nest here, and turtles as well. Here are some of the Bridled Tern chicks I took. Due to a 10kg limit on luggage, 9.5kg was camera gear! and huey had to stay home. Packing was interesting! Took the camera bag, and only a small bag on the lap. It's a small plane! Lenses were 70-200 f2.8 and the 400 f5.6, and either on the 7d, or 5Dmk3.

Great pics and adorable chicks. What a great trip that must have been, Tina. And glad to hear that you and Huey are still together, even though he had to stay at home this time. :)

Well done Tina, some cute(?) little chicks you shot, number one is great, kinda makes me feel for Mum and Dad though. You did really well without Huey!

That sure looks like fun Tina, great work on these. Have to admit I have never heard of a Bridled Tern, thanks for sharing these.

thankyou everyone for your lovely comments.
Steve, will post a couple of adult Brindled Terns. First time I had heard of them too.
Alan, I just crop to what I think suits. Sometimes it ends up squarish to not include stuff that I think doesn't add to the image, as I don't clone.
Lol Levina, after a failed romance this year, I think I will stick to Huey!!
